The red track monster! | *new* Case IH Magnum 310 CVX Rowtrac | Grimme Exacta

This is the very first Case IH Rowtrac model that was sold in the Benelux and perhaps even beyond. Most of these tractors are demonstrator units but this Dutch farmer managed to get his hands on one of the very first. It’s the smallest in the range; Magnum 310 CVX. The Rowtrac-range was launched last year by Case IH and is also sold by sister-brand New Holland as the Smarttrax.

This Rowtrac was filmed during spring 2016 in the Dutch hamlet Uithuizen, right near the sea in the far North. It is using a brand new Grimme GL 420 Exacta all-in-one planting combination for planting potatoes on some very hard and dusty clay. On the front is a levelling bar and a Kverneland iXtra front tank for adding chemicals (Acatara) to control aphids. A Case IH Puma 130 can be seen preparing the plough furrows in advance to level the field before planting takes place. It being an extremely difficult spring this year. It helps increase planting capacity so was worth doing. As you can see it was VERY dusty and VERY windy!
