Only two Claas Lexion 780 Terra Trac combine harvesters were working in The Netherlands for the 2016 wheat harvest and this is one of them, owned by arable farm Gebr. de Zeeuw, in the Noordoostpolder. A Fendt 820 Vario with Beco 18t trailer is carting away the crop. The wheat crop has been undersown with rye grass. This is why the stubble is so green.
The Lexion 780 is Claas’ biggest model and this machine, on the Terra Trac crawler tracks, is using a V1050 10.50m wide header. The combine has a 598 HP Mercedes engine and 12.500L grain tank.
